State Administrative Bishop
Dr. James Binion
Dr. James D. Binion serves as Administrative Bishop for the Missouri Church of God, providing visionary leadership and oversight. Before his current role, he served as Administrative Bishop for Arizona and New Mexico/El Paso Region. A native Texan, Dr. Binion led a congregation in Texas for 25 years, demonstrating a deep commitment to pastoral care and community engagement.
He currently serves on the Publication Board of Directors for Pathway and the Men and Women of Action Advisory Board for the Church of God International Offices in Cleveland, Tennessee. Dr. Binion holds a Master of Arts in Church Ministries from the Pentecostal Theological Seminary and a Doctor of Ministry from St. Thomas University. His commitment to lifelong learning and ministry innovation further strengthens his leadership.
An accomplished musician and singer with a passion for gospel music. He is married to Diann, Director of the Missouri Church of God Women’s Ministry. As a father and grandfather, he enjoys time with his family.
State Women's Director/Credentialing
Diann Binion
Diann Binion is the Missouri Women’s Ministry Director and an Ordained Minister with the Church of God. She holds a business degree and previously worked in corporate leadership roles. For 25 years, she served alongside her husband in ministry, Dr. James Binion, in Texas. Driven by compassion for the lost and hurting, Diann volunteered with Operation Care International in Dallas during her time in Texas. She has also served as the Women’s Ministry Director in Arizona and the New Mexico/El Paso Region.
Having experienced God’s faithfulness, Diann is dedicated to inspiring others to trust Him and follow His guidance. She connects with women from all walks of life through empathy and understanding, meeting them exactly where they are. Her nurturing spirit embodies strength, grace, and sisterhood. As a wife, mother, and grandmother, she cherishes a good cup of tea, good conversations, and the wisdom found in the Good Book.
Youth and Discipleship Director
Casey Cook
Bishop Casey Cook is an Ordained Bishop with the Church of God. Bishop Cook has been married to Casie Jo Cook since March of 2010 and they have two children, Kinsler who is 10 and Kinslei who is 7. Bishop Cook is currently serving as the Youth & Discipleship Director for the state of Missouri. He has served as Senior Pastor for 9 years in Texas and in Oklahoma. Over the last three years, he has served in dual role as the Youth & Discipleship Director for the Heartland Region of Oklahoma and Kansas. Prior to moving to Oklahoma, he served as the Youth & Discipleship Director for the Southwest Region of New Mexico/El Paso.
Bishop Cook’s heart and passion is youth. He desires to be a vessel for God to use to help raise up a generation of mighty warriors for God. The goal of his leadership as a Youth & Discipleship Director is to help young people understand what they believe in and WHY they believe in God, not just because it is something their parents have always done.
The calling that God has put on his life is not taken lightly and he and his wife believe that God can use a group of young people to change the world. He believes that we are raising up world changers in this generation.
State Girl's Ministries Coordinator/Receptionist
Casie Cook
Casie Cook is an Ordained Minister in the Church of God and is married to Bishop Casey Cook since March of 2010. The Cook’s story of marriage is one of God ordained as Bishop Cook was working the sound booth and his bride walked in the sanctuary. At that moment he heard God speak to him that Casie Jo was his wife. The Cook’s have two children, Kinsler who is 10 and Kinslei who is 7. Casie is currently serving as the Girl’s Ministries Coordinator for the state of Missouri. She has also served as the Girl’s Ministries Coordinator for the Southwest Region of New Mexico/El Paso and the Heartland Region of Oklahoma and Kansas. Casie has a heart for young ladies and strives to see women of God step into their callings in ministry.
Casie desires to see young women of God realize their worth and that they are daughters of the Most High. That God can use them right where they are at and raise them up to be Proverbs 31 women. Her heart and passion are rooted in her own testimony of the redemptive love of God in her life. She has a call to preach the Gospel to every young lady that is willing to listen to what God has to say. She loves with a tender and caring heart for those that need a listening ear and is looking forward to what God has in store for the future of the young ladies in Missouri.
Evangelism Director
Matthew Smith
Matthew Smith serves as the Evangelism Director for the Missouri Church of God as well as Pastor of the Bonne Terre Church of God in Bonne Terre, MO. Matthew is an Ordained Bishop with the Church of God and has a passion to see churches and congregations within the state of Missouri reach their fullest potential. Matthew is eager to help point churches in the right direction for growth and revival.
Evangelism Director Assistant
Amy Smith
Amy Smith has been serving in ministry since 1997, alongside her husband Matthew. They have three married children, a son in college at Lee University and two 8-year-olds. Matthew & Amy currently serve as Lead Pastors at Bonne Terre Church of God and as Missouri State Evangelism Directors. Amy has a heart for children in foster care, as well as women who are battling addiction. She has compassion for hurting people and longs to see her community saved and set free from bondage. Her commitment to the Lord, and her family, is unwavering.
Administrative Assistant to State Overseer/State Treasurer
Marcia Parmley
Marcia Parmley serves in the dual role of the State Secretary/Treasurer as well as the Administrative Assistant for the Administrative Bishop in the Missouri Church of God State Office. Marcia has been with the state office for 24 years.
As a life-long resident of the St. Francois County, she and her husband, Danny, have raised three amazing children, Derek and his wife Erika, Shawna and her husband Brad, and Dyllon and his wife Bailey. Together they also have five active grandchildren that keep them busy on the day to day, Cheyenne (13), Chase (9), Braxton (4), Kolter (2) and Noah (9 mo).
Family is near and dear to her heart. Sunday dinners around the table on a regular basis are a highlight of the week for sure. The chaos is an added bonus! Marcia also enjoys traveling, reading and the grandchildren’s extracurricular activities of dance, horseback riding, baseball, football, t-ball and for the youngest ones just watching them grow!
